Who should apply to present at the 10th annual InvestMidwest?
Up to 45 companies seeking funding will be selected to present. The conference will showcase companies in three industry tracks: life sciences, technology/general business and cleantech/alternative energy. The InvestMidwest selection committee will consider companies that meet the following criteria:
- Located within the center corridor of the United States
- Seeking $1M to $20M in funding
- Revenue projections of $20 million within five years (with the exception of life sciences companies)
Companies meeting these criteria are encouraged to apply. Companies that are selected will have the opportunity to present a ten minute PowerPoint presentation before a prominent audience of venture capitalists, private investors and corporate investors.
How to apply?
To apply, please complete the on-line application below. The final application deadline has been extended to January 16, 2009. All companies will be contacted by February 12 regarding their acceptance.
Your ability to clearly and succinctly present your business opportunity in this form is critical for consideration by the InvestMidwest Selection Committee. This first step of this application process will ask you to create a password that you will use to access the full application. After you complete this initial step of the application, you will receive an email with your user id to access and finish your application.
The application process provides you the option of attaching up to three documents to your application. Please consider attaching an executive summary to provide the selection committee additional and more complete information regarding your company.
